ReplyDeleteThese are great! I can tell you all that our elders have been passing these down for a few generatiions now (because I recall hearing everyone of them myself when I was your age). What do you suppose this tells us about the significance of proverbs in our culture? Do the proverbs you shared have significance for you? Do you ever find yourself in situations in which you "hear" one of your elders saying these things to you? I sure do! Thanks for sharing these on your blog!
